Canada Issued New Guidelines: Green Signal For Expired COPR and PR Visa Holders, Permitted To Travel Canada. Breaking the confusions, IRCC(Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has issued new guidelines for Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and Permanent Residence (PR) visa holders and has granted relief to immigrants with expired COPR and PR visa.   As per IRCC’s latest policy, Individuals with expired COPR and PR Visa are allowed to travel to Canada. However, some rules vary for expired visa (COPR and PR) holders depending on whether they are arriving from (the US or other countries). One of the rules to quality for expired COPR and PR visa category reveals that immigrants from other nations (not the U.S.A) need to have obtained their visas on or before March 18, while no such rule applies to individuals coming from America.
