Covid-19 Transformed Abroad Higher Education Digital Way
With the surging Covid-19 infection from a few months, the educational institutions across the world have shut their operations (physical teaching, library, labs, etc) and transformed their regular teaching methods in order to follow the social distancing- online classes came in the place of in-person learning to stop the person-person interaction.
Teaching and learning are going through digital platforms, a big shift in education to stay safe amid COVID.
Not only in India, but the universities and colleges worldwide have also been organizing distance learning programs for their students to stop the loss of precious time. As students are unable to travel to foreign countries regarding the global restrictions due to corona, they are indulged in online classes that are being conducted by their respective institutions.
The leading study destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, France, etc are taking necessary precautions and health recovery protocols to curb the pandemic and are in plans to welcome international students soon. Thousands of Indian students are pursuing their graduations in these countries, known well for high-quality education and research.
The latest survey depicts that majority of the students are getting used to the online classes, while few have postponed their planes till the universities initiate the in-person classes and everything comes under control.
To provide assistance and support to the distance learners who are unable to travel, the developed countries like the UK, Australia, and Canada, etc have changed the post-study work rights in favor of them, announced that they are still eligible for work after graduation or study. Students are allowed to complete half of their programs online.
It is a fact, Online classes will not offer a real experience like the classroom or in-person teaching do. There might be flaws, however in the pandemic, this method is a blessing in disguise, an opportunity for students to study, learn, and complete course without time loss.
Let’s hope the pandemic comes under control soon paving the way for students to resume their studies in foreign universities.
