Canada Set Out Plans To Allow International Students

Canada’s government closed its borders for international travel restricting students and immigrants from entering the country in the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic that is shivering the whole world. 

It is a known fact that the highly-developed nation Canada is one of the leading countries among popular study destinations worldwide attracting international students abundantly, Indian students in large numbers are studying at various Canadian universities. The main attraction here is the education sector that is high on academic quality with affordable tuition fees.

With the corona crisis and travel ban, international students are unable to travel to Canada and their study plans got interrupted. As mentioned, Canada has placed travel restrictions at the borders fearing the corona transmission. Not only Canada, but all countries across the globe also have closed their borders.

However, here comes a piece of unconfirmed good news to Canadian education aspirants that Canada is planning to lift the travel restrictions to allow international students for fall 2020.

Talk is that there is a high possibility to implement this new policy which facilitates the entry of students, but an official confirmation by Canada Immigration officials is yet to be made.

If the latest unofficial news coming out about travel exemptions is true, this is going to be a big relief for the  Indian students too who are willing for Canadian education.
