New Zealand Announced Big Package To Revitalize International Education

The latest update is that the New Zealand government will sanction 51.6 million dollars (NZ$) to the international education sector, in order to stabilize and strengthen the education system that is facing turbulence with the pandemic. The funds released are part of a long-term strategic recovery plan.

The coronavirus collapsed the international education sector, not only in New Zealand but in all other leading nations like the USA, UK, Australia, and Canada, etc, where international students are one the strongest economy sources. With the pandemic and lockdown all over, students are stuck in their countries unable to travel, resulting in a huge  loss of revenue to these leading study destinations.

Therefore, to minimize the loss and put the international education sector on track, the Newzealand government is taking all necessary measures, 51.6 million dollars recovery plan is one of them.
