Canada: Air Travel Available For Abroad Students at Cheaper
Price: University of Windsor Tie-up with Air Canada
To support and encourage the students
who stranded offshore due to pandemic threat cum pandemic control measures and
unable to pursue their study programs at the institute, Canada’s elite campus
the University of Windsor has been offering them affordable air travel to
Canada.
University of Windsor has
collaborated with Canada’s biggest airline Air Canada in order to provide air
travel to its students at cheaper rates.
It's a good move by the institute to encourage its students to kick-start
their international education journey in Canada.
Windsor is one of the reputed
educational organizations of Canada. The campus is located in Ontario city, one
of the major economic hubs of Canada. The university got the Designated
Learning Institution status with covid readiness plan approved by the
government.
The University of Windsor will email
all the details including the agreement and the flight booking process to its
students who are enrolled at its institute.
Air Canada is the largest domestic
and international airline of Canada operates its flights in more than 200
airports across six continents and provides services for more than 50 million
passengers each year.
As per the Canadian government
regulation, educational organizations that are in the Designated Learning
Institution list are only allowed to begin in-person classes. To acquire the
DLI status, a Covid19 Readiness Plan that describes their preparation to handle
corona infection must get approved by the province.
Therefore, it is recommended to
international pupils coming to Canada check their institution in the DLI, it’s
important because the students whose institutes haven’t got DIL status are not
allowed to enter Canada.
People from abroad travelling to
Canada must follow the official guidelines stated by the Canadian government
such as submitting the negative Covid-19 report to air travel officials before
boarding the flight and quarantine for 14 days if they have or don't have
symptoms of COVID-19 after reaching Canada.
