Canada: Quebec Province Allows International Students to Work with Incomplete PGWP
One of the thirteen provinces and
territories of the world's 2nd largest country Canada, Quebec is located in the eastern part of Canada and its official language is French as there are a large
number of French-speaking people. The province is one of the most populous
regions of Canada.
Quebec is home to noted universities
and colleges, welcomes students across the globe. Indian pupils are also
pursuing their courses.
Work without Post-Graduation Work Permit PGWP
Lately, Quebec province announced a decision that is favorable for international students, who are studying in
their province.
Abroad students who belong to Quebec
are allowed to work even though their application of Post-Graduation Work
Permit (PGWP) is in process or if they have not submitted the course completed
documents which are yet to be received means there is no requirement for full
documentation.
This facility is applicable for
certain international pupils whose study permit and Quebec Acceptance
Certificate (CAQ) expires on December 31 2020 after being automatically
extended due to covid19 pandemic.
Reasons to explain specifically in the letter
Students are asked to attest a letter
explaining the reasons to avail this opportunity in the PGWP application and
submit to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada before December 31, 2020.
1. What is the reason for submitting
an incomplete application?
2. Mention the fact-CAQ (Quebec
Acceptance Certificate) and study permit expires on 31st this year
after being automatically extended
3. If required or appropriate, tell
about the changes that occurred in studies due to Covid-19
