USA’s New President Joe
Biden View on International Collaboration in Education and Immigration
The
77year old democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has become the 46th
president of the United States defeating the earlier president Donald Trump in
the latest nail-biting elections. Though Trump gave some tough fight in a few
segments, the final winner in the presidential race is Joe Biden grabbing
required and more electoral votes. The new president got a historic voter
percentage in and across the USA, breaking the previous 75 million vote record
of Obama.
The
earlier US leader Donald Trump was in bad books for his controversial
statements cum actions even made some funny and annoying statements during
serious times of pandemic, badly damaging his image among the public of theUnited States. Trump and his government's take on immigration, popular H1B
visas and international educational policies, especially this year, are not
well received by the foreigners. And also the educational universities of the
USA have openly shown their disagreement on international educational policies,
which restricts foreign pupils from entering the USA for studies.
Therefore,
there are many hopes among the US public and outsiders on the newly elected
President Joe Biden who is a seasoned politician with vast experience in
politics and even played key roles in earlier governments. He acted as a vice
president during the period of Obama, who served as the 44th president of the
USA from 2009 to 2017.
Everyone
and every organization is closely watching and anxiously waiting for the new
president’s upcoming actions on the policies which were amended during the
times of Trump.
Though
yet not Joe Biden has expressed his view on the immigration and international
educational policies, here comes his positive statement he made a couple of
years back at an educational summit.
In
March 2018, Joe Biden visited the International Education Leadership Summit,
where the senior president delivered a speech in support of the international
collaboration in education and immigration policies.
Joe
Biden’s past statement has raised positive vibes in international education the sector as well as among foreign students who are aspiring to study In the USA.
It is the fact that the international students from China, India,
etc. are one the
strongest sources of income for US Universities and to the country.
Let's
wait for Biden's action as an honorable president of the USA.
