The second wave of corona has hit the European countries and the infection rate is far worse than the initial in Europe. The United Kingdom is one of the badly affected with the sudden rise of positive cases and deaths.

protocol, prime minister of the UK Boris Johnson officially announced the 4

What about Universities in and across the UK?
The rules and
regulations are changing from university to university as each one is
maintaining their own regulations, unlike the first complete lockdown
implemented during March. Apart from online classes, few institutions are
continuing in-person classes on campus for a few months. The rise of the corona
second wave might alter the operation of universities later and more changes
and actions might come into effect.
Few pupils in some
universities who are attacked with corona are kept in quarantine, while
international students are in self-quarantine for 14 days in their
accommodations. Universities are providing food and other amenities for
quarantined students.
Each university is
implementing its own set of coronavirus
restrictions and measures as per the intensity of corona in their regions.
Still, the dilemma over permitting students to go home for Christmas is still going,
an announcement from the government is yet to come.
