Canada Visa Application Centers In India are All Set To Reopen-First Priority for International Students and Skilled Immigrants


Canada is one of the most favorites destinations for foreigners across the globe, a large number of people from abroad are coming to Canada for various purposes like study, work, and stay. Canada permanent residence(PR) visa is the most sought-after visa. A large number of Indians are settled in Canada.

 

Canada is known well for providing high quality education and encompasses world class which are attracting students from India. Thousand of students from India are pursuing their desired courses in Canadian universities, the post-graduation work policy that allows to work post completion of graduation is also attracting them.

 

Here comes good news for Indian students who are not able to travel so far due to covid restrictions to experience Canada education.

 

Due to covid 19, the Canada visa application centers in and across Indian were closed for a few months. Face to face operations was canceled to avoid the spread of infection.  However, the visa centers are all set to reopen again.

 

Today, the Canadian government announced that the Visa Application Centres will resume its services from today,  November 20, 2020.

 

The official  tweet posted by Canadian officials on Twitter handle Canada In India states that limited biometrics appointments will be scheduled in Chandigarh, Delhi, Jalandhar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai,  and Bengaluru.

 

More preference will be given for international students along with family class applicants.

 

It is to be noted that international students have been exempted from travel restrictions as of October 20. However, biometrics submission has been halted to date, which has halted the study permit process as well.

 

As Visa centers are opening from Today, students are allowed to submit their biometrics so they can complete their study permit processes.

 

Students are required to book Appointments in advance and submit their biometrics on scheduled time/day.
